I was that girl, fresh from the salon, opting for a quick bath instead of a shower, trying to make my silk press last until the next day. I used to have the hardest time getting my styles to last. Constantly flat ironing my hair over and over again, causing severe heat damage. I’ve bought countless shower caps, tried different versions of towel wraps, and even used plastic bags — #IYKYK! Nothing worked.

So, I redesigned a product specifically with our hair needs in mind. Meticulously crafted from premium-quality fabrics, chosen for their durability, comfort, and breathability. The Shower Wrap story...

    How it Started...

    I set out to recreate the towel wrapping technique that women around me would execute with such accuracy, to wrap their hair before bathing. It would preserve the hair style for a longer duration of time.

    I researched why women used bath towels for this purpose. This led me to explore and research many towel fabrics. I fell in love with a hemp & cotton blend due to its many benefits for hair and skin.

    I then researched and added the best quality of charmeuse satin to the inner lining to prevent friction & maintain our hair natural oils.

    I combined the fabrics and began the design process. I set out to create a product that made us look beautiful bathing while protecting and maintaining the hair style. That was the goal & it was accomplished!

    Why Hemp?

    The terry cloth outer layer of the shower wrap is a unique blend of organic cotton and hemp. Hemp was chosen for its strength and durability, ensuring the longevity of our shower wrap. This blend of materials may feel a little firm but it softens after the first wash and tumble dry. Hemp fabric is known for being one of the fastest-drying natural fibers available which was important for daily use.

    Hemp fiber also possesses antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antimicrobial properties, making it ideal for a product that comes in contact with skin. The antibacterial properties in hemp help maintain healthy skin.

    While hemp fabrics can be more expensive due to limited supply and high demand, its durability, breathability and sustainability make it a worthwhile investment.
